Indag-an Primary Multi-Purpose Cooperative (IPMPC) is driven forward by the vision of a thriving loom weaving industry in the town of Miagao, Iloilo.

Back in the 1980s, hablon production suffered a decline due to the influx of machine-made textiles which led to weavers looking for another source of livelihood. In response, the leadership of Brgy. Indag-an made an effort to revive the hablon industry with the help of various organizations.

IPMPC was established in 1991 thanks to the support of national agencies and the Canadian International Development Assistance. They received looms and training for weavers that enabled them to sustain their enterprise and produce quality hablon products such as patadyong, shawls and even sandals!
